Questions, answered plainly.
Everything shop owners usually ask before switching. Can't find it here? The contact page reaches a real person.
Getting started
Most shops are taking in their first device within about five minutes. You create an account, add your shop and locations, import or add a few parts, and you're live. There's no installation — LunarPOS runs entirely in the browser.
No. LunarPOS works on any computer, tablet, or phone with a browser. If you already have a receipt printer or card terminal, you can connect them, but nothing is required to start.
Yes. You can bulk-import customers and inventory from a CSV. For larger migrations off another POS, our team will help map and load your data — just reach out from the contact page.
Pricing & billing
Yes — you can start free with no credit card. You'll have time to run real repairs through it before deciding on a plan, and you can cancel anytime.
Plans are tiered, and additional locations are added to your account rather than billed as separate subscriptions. Everything stays under one login with consolidated reporting. Contact us for multi-location pricing.
Your data stays exportable. You can download your customers, tickets, and inventory to CSV at any time, including before you close an account.
Features & day-to-day
When you link a part to a repair and complete it, the part is deducted from stock automatically. Set a reorder threshold per part and LunarPOS flags it before you run out.
When a ticket changes status — for example, to 'Ready' — LunarPOS can automatically text and email the customer, branded with your shop name. No one at the counter has to remember to send it.
Yes. You can record cash, card, and split payments. When a card terminal is connected, the card's last four digits come straight from the terminal onto the receipt — they're never typed in by hand.
Security & support
Yes. Every record is scoped to your account and never pooled with other businesses. We don't sell or share your customer data.
Email contact@lunarpos.co.uk or use the contact form. Support runs Monday to Saturday, 9am–6pm UK time, and you'll reach people who understand how repair shops actually operate.
